Newborn should be carefully handled, they should not be shaken while playing because it might cause bleeding in the brain and sometimes lead to death. If the parents want to wake up the baby, then can simply do that by tickling the baby’s feet.

While carrying baby, parents should make sure that their baby is tightly secured in the stroller, carrier, or car seat. Parents should not play with their newborn roughly. Bonding between the newborn and parents happen few days after the childbirth. Bonding is very important for the emotional and physical growth of the child. Types of Debt Financing Available to Small Business Owners

There are currently two types of debt financing available to small business owners: short-term and long-term.

Short-Term Debt Financing

Short-term debt financing is used by small businesses who need to get ahold of money quickly and plan on paying back what is borrowed over a short period of time. This type of financing is generally used to help a business out when it is short on cash or to pay for unexpected business expenses. Personal loans, complex short term bank loans, bonds, credit cards and payday loans are all forms of short-term debt financing that business owners can turn to for help.

Long-Term Debt Financing

For larger sums of money, business owners will turn to long-term debt financing. Long-term debt financing is used to fund large investments or major company projects. These loans have a longer payback period and can include interest. Equity loans and venture capitals are two examples of long-term debt financing.

The type of debt financing that you choose for your business will depend upon several different factors such as term of the loan, payback period, and how the money will be used. Debt is no small matter, so choose wisely.

Picking a Childcare Center is a Long-term Decision

Generally, mothers can go back to work six weeks after delivery. It is heart breaking to even think about putting your little one in childcare. The good news is there are many qualified daycare centers to accommodate your precious infant.

There are variables to look at before placing your baby in a center. If you plan on placing your child in daycare, you may want to look up to six months in advance to ensure you choose the right place. One way is by searching on Canada 411 to help you locate local daycare centers. Once you have narrowed down your choices, make frequent visits. Here are a few things to look consider:

  • The cleanliness of the facility, including all baby toys and equipment.
  • The center’s safety. Are the hazardous objects within reach of the children? Is the building locked and secure?
  • The staff. Check for all credentials. Observe how they interact with the children; are they directly involved or do they rely on a television to baby sit the little ones? Also observe the staff’s overall attitude. You don’t want to leave your baby in a center with disgruntled caregivers.
  • Pick a center with a decent staff to children ratio. Five children to one caregiver is common. Any more than this can leave your child at risk of a lack of attention.
  • Talk with other parents and get referrals. If you don’t know of another parent using a facility, feel free to ask other parents at potential childcare centers you are looking at.

With the right amount of research, you’ll find a childcare facility where you can feel comfortable and confident leaving your child.

Tips for Caring for a Newborn Baby

Caring for a newborn baby is not as easy as some may thing, especially for first-time parents. With a little preparation, a lot of patience, and an open mind, caring for a newborn baby will not be too stressful. Be prepared to be very tired for the first year of your baby’s life.

One of the biggest concerns for parents of newborn babies is that they are not eating enough. Especially moms that are breastfeeding that can not measure their milk intake like bottle feedings moms can. If you are breastfeeding, the baby should be eating every two to three hours, or between eight and twelve times a day. Let the baby eat until she is done. Formula fed babies will drink about two to three ounces of formula, every three to four hours. If your little one has at lease six wet diapers and 3 stools a day, things are going great and the baby is eating enough.

The next biggest concern for parents, especially those that are feeling the exhaustion of new parenthood, are concerned about sleep. Newborn babies sleep a lot, about 16 hours a day. Usually, babies will sleep for one long period of three to five hours, and then have a bunch of short periods of sleep mixed in with short periods of being awake. The older the baby gets, the longer the wake periods will be. Babies should always sleep on their backs and there should be no loose blankets or toys in the crib, to reduce the risk of SIDS. To prevent your baby from getting too hot, don’t bundle him up too much and keep your home between 68 and 72 degrees.
